CAYA Panthers!

The CAYA Panthers football season is in full-swing! After practicing for two hours a day, for five days a week since August, Panthers aged six to fifteen are out in the city for the 2012 season squaring off against the Rainier White Ravens, Seatac Sharks, Rainier Beach Vikings, Renton Rangers, Kent Cobras, Green River Ravens and Rainier Eagles. KJR Kares-A-Thon

CAYA would like to give a big shout out and thank you to KJR including us as a recipient of the recent KJR Kares-a-thon ending on September 21st. This year’s online and live on-air auction raised over $120,000 by offering unique “can’t be bought” experiences like the opportunity to job shadow Seahawks team photographer Rod Mar on the sidelines during a game, or the chance to have dinner with CAYA program graduate and NBA star Brandon Roy. CAYA Summer Leadership Camp

CAYA Summer leadership Camp is held over two sessions during the summer. This program focuses on development of youth aged: 5-13yrs through enhancement of basic skills in the areas of math, reading and writing, debate, history, field trips, etiquette training, art classes, stage production/performance, and much more. Many parents have shared that they feel the CAYA camp was the best their children had ever attended. Hours are from 7:30am-5:30pm. Breakfast, lunch and snacks are included.
